It may appear on the back of the scalp or neck, wrists, forearms, lower legs or even on the scrotum or vulva.

What causes Lichen Simplex?

Typically found on adult males and females this skin condition will often appear on those who suffer from anxiety, depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. Lichen Simplex forms on people who primarily experience other skin conditions such as psoriasis, fungal infections, insect bites, neuropathy, various forms of eczema and lichen planus.
