Summer Moon is a board certified dermatologist and a melanoma survivor with special interest in early detection of skin cancer.
Dr. Moon accepts adults and children with a variety of dermatologic conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, acne, warts, and skin cancers. Dr. Moon preforms outpatient surgical and Cosmetic procedures including Botox and fillers.
Dr. Moon is a Florida native and graduated from the University of South Florida, where she completed her Bachelors in Biomedical Science. She went on to earn her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Dr. Moon completed her internship at Largo Medical Center and her dermatology residency in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Dr. Moon has a passion for teaching and mentoring. She has been involved in original research, co authored two text book chapters and has numerous publications in various Dermatology journals. Dr. Moon is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic college of dermatology.
Dr. Moon treasures family time, enjoys being outdoors and uses her free time to boat, exercise and meditate. Dr. Moon, her husband and children are happy to be home were she feels privileged and honored to serve her local community. Dr. Moon looks forward to caring for you.
